Lacking any collaborations or themed releases in its debut year, the sneaker now finds itself a part of the brand’s Chinese New Year-themed “Leap High” collection for 2023’s Year of the Rabbit. Joining other silhouettes such as the Air Force 1 High Utility 2.0, Blazer Mid and ACG Lowcate, the Air Max Scorpion hops into the fray.   Beginning at the upper, the shoe’s signature Flyknit chenille composition appears in a bright white with thematic shapes. Its black Swooshes are embroidered with a shape that replicates movement with its unique tail. The theme’s custom tongue design reappears with “Leap High” text joined by Nike (NYSE:NKE  0.00%) branding. Pivoting to the sneaker’s eye-catching sole unit, a white and black marbled effect hits the uppermost layer while the full-length Air midsole is supported by a translucent rubber outsole. A red commonly used in CNY celebrations outfits the sockliner and heel tab while also accenting the midsole, completing the look alongside optional furry laces.   Related
